Gloria Anthony, RDH - Registered Dental Hygienist
Born in Hawaii, Gloria has been a Naples resident since she was nine years old. She has been interested in the field of dentistry throughout her life. She entered dentistry as an assistant in 2002. Her experiences there inspired her to attend Edison State College's Dental Hygiene program, where she graduated with honors in 2009. She worked for our office on a part-time basis after her graduation, and we are pleased to announce she will be with us more permanently now. When she is not treating patients, she enjoys kayaking, reading, and spending time with her family.
Gloria will be taking over for Sue Conway, who recently relocated back to Ft. Wayne, Indiana to be closer to her family. Gloria and Sue lived on the same block here in Naples, and became great friends over the years. Although it was a difficult decision for Sue to relocate, she felt comfortable that Gloria would be the best replacement for her. Gloria, like Sue, understands the importance of quality, comfortable dental care, as well as the importance of getting to know your patients. |

Shirley Maestre, DA - Certified Dental Assistant
Born in Cuba, Shirley has called Naples home most of her life. Throughout her schooling, she was always fascinated with the field of dentistry. She attended the Lorenzo Walker Institute of Technology and studied dental assisting. She graduated with a certificate in Expanded Functions, which is the highest level one could achieve in assisting. In the short time she has been with us, it is quite evident she has a love for dentistry, and feels very fortunate to be working with such a great team. Outside the office, she enjoys photography, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
Shirley will become Dr. Sullivan's primary assistant following the retirement of his longtime assistant Jan. Jan has been a team member for over 10 years, and has decided that it is time to spend more time with her family, especially her three granddaughters who live up north. For Jan, family is everything. Although it will be sad to see her leave, we understand and respect her decision. Jan officially will retire in December 2011. We wish Sue and Jan nothing but the best for the future. |
