Teeth Whitening

Teeth whitening is a very popular treatment performed at our office daily. Tooth whiteners are safe to use, easy to apply, convenient, and carries the ADA Seal of Approval. In our office we offer three whitening options:

    • Option #1: Zoom In Office Whitening – designed for patients who want instant gratification. Zoom, by far, is the industry leader for in office whitening. It has been showcased on ABC’s Extreme Makeover television show. The procedure takes 1 hour and 20 minutes to complete and is done while the patient relaxes in our comfy new chairs listening to their favorite music. The whitening effects last anywhere from 6 months to one year.

    • Option #2: Custom Take Home Whitening Trays – As a more economical option to the In Office Whitening, Take Home Whitening by far is the most common method utilized in our office. Custom trays, made out of sot rubber, are fabricated from molds of your teeth to allow for a perfect fit. Patients are instructed how to place the whitening gel in the trays and their progress is monitored at their follow up appointment. Different concentrations of whitening gel are available and we can determine which gel is best suited for you. Most patients can achieve their desired shade in 2 – 3 weeks time.
    • Option #3: Whitening Strips – Almost every grocery store and pharmacy now carries whitening strips. They are easy to use, disposable and involves the least initial investment of all three options. It’s perfect for those patients who are curious about whitening who want to see if it works for them.

At our office we are proud to offer Sheer-White Strips, which we feel outperform what’s available in stores today. Our strips actually stay on your teeth, and don’t fall off. The gel is a higher concentration of whitening solution which translates into less application time and better results. They are also less expensive than most store bought strips.
